Little Kiddies Day Care Center is a privately owned and operated child care facility dedicated to providing a quality program for children between the ages of six weeks and six years. We strive to reflect the high standards set by (NAEYC) National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our goal is to provide care that parents can trust in an age appropriate and supportive environment.
Ages Served
The ages of the children that I care for are 6 weeks up to 6 yrs. old. Little Kiddies is geared for ages 6 and under. Because of this, unfortunately, once your child starts kindergarten, alternative care will have to be arranged - unless there is a full-time younger sibling in care. Please keep in mind that I do not provide transportation to and from school and my home.
Diversity
Little Kiddies is committed to diversity. We will never discriminate in regard to our children, our families or our staff on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. In an effort to incorporate diversity in the program we use a wide range of toys, books, music and food.
Staff Qualifications
We believe that we have planned a program that offers your child many opportunities to grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually as an individual and as a member of a larger group. The qualifications of the staff employed at the center include courses in early childhood education, child development, as well as a great deal of experience working with young children.
Staff also participates in on going in-Classes training, professional seminars, conferences, and staff meetings to ensure that they are up to date with the most appropriate way in which to support your child’s growth and development.
Our Mission
“No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure.”

Innovative Methods of Teaching
Our dedicated staff apply modern techniques that keep our students interested in all our day to day activities. Little Kiddies places emphasis on four developmental areas; social/emotional, cognitive, physical and language.
Our teachers arrange the classrooms and select materials to create a child-centered learning environment.
Teachers observe children’s interactions with their learning environment to assess skills, interests and abilities, and come up with activities or learning experiences that encourage social, emotional and new skill development. The new skills development by apply the first domains of child development which are:
- Gross Motor Skills
- Social Emotional Development
- Cognitive Development
- Language and Literacy Development
- Fine Motor Development Skills
